For more than 30 years, Human Rights Watch (HRW) has worked tenaciously to lay the legal and moral groundwork to bring greater justice and security to people around the world. It stands with victims and activists to prevent discrimination, uphold political freedom, protect people from inhumane conduct in wartime and bring offenders to justice. Through investigation and exposure of human rights violations, HRW is able to give voices to the oppressed and hold abusers accountable. HRW is also working with other organizations to achieve the goal of ending child marriage in the United States and in other countries by 2030.
