Kids First Chicago (K1C) works to ensure quality education is accessible for every kid in every Chicago neighborhood. K1C believes those closest to our students–families and community members–are best equipped to design policies and systems that will improve equity and lead to stronger outcomes for our students, our communities, and our city. They are working to challenge the declining student enrollment in Chicago Public Schools by listening to families who are leaving Chicago and making changes to help families stay.
