Medical Missions for Children was created over 25 years ago, growing to complete almost 20 missions a year to help children across the globe from Antiqua, Guatemala to Gitwe, Rwanda. They provide surgical and dental services to children and young adults, as well as facilitating the transfer of education, knowledge, and recent innovations to the local medical communities. These surgeries resolve health complications and speech impediments and most importantly, restores dignity to a child and his or her family. Children who receive this surgery are given the opportunity to stay in school and become productive members of the community, where these afflictions may have been life altering before.
