The Chicago High School for the Arts develops the next generation of diverse, artistically promising scholar-artists through intensive pre-professional training in the arts, combined with a comprehensive college preparatory curriculum. The High School strives to help students lead well rounded lives, supporting personal growth, respecting diversity, and giving back to the city through community service. ChiArts is the first public arts high school in Chicago, founded in 2009.
