The Millennium Park Foundation was established in 1998 as a nonprofit organization that shared the same vision as the City of Chicago for a world-class arts and cultural space in the Loop business district of downtown. The Foundation provides seasonal programs which allow visitors to participate in cultural and art-based activities, local music performances for children, and the opportunity to exercise outdoors in the summer or winter months. Between Cloud Gate, by Anish Kapoor, The Crown Fountain, The Harris Theater and more, there is an abundance of space for Chicagoans and visitors alike to enjoy.
